We are once again streaming Josephine County Sheriff Dispatch and have added Oregon State Police Grants Pass Dispatch. Right now, we're sending both to our own streaming service and are sending County SO to Broadcastify as well. We will be sending OSP to Broadcastify as well soon, if approved. We're also working on a new Software Defined Radio solution for streaming Grants Pass Police, which will hopefully help with some of the reception (garbed audio) issues. Thanks!

A P25 scanner has been obtained, and we are back broadcasting the Grants Pass police feed. Thank for your patience!

ALL FEEDS ARE OFFLINE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE! The Grants Pass police have changed from an analog to digital (APCO-25/P25) radio system. Unfortunately, this effectively puts an end to our live broadcasts for now. Monitoring digital signals requires an expensive ($500) reciever, and even then the agencies may be encrypted. While we do have ads on this site, the money raised is generally enough to make the site self-sustaining by covering our costs for web hosting and power to our stream server, with a few dollars occasionally left over to swap out failed hardware (receivers, sound cards, etc.) Basically, our plan of action is to verify for ourselves that the agencies are not using encryption on their radios, and if not, we will acquire a digital receiver to bring the Grants Pass Police feed back up, as it is the most popular one. Unfortunately, the Josephine County Sheriff's Office feed rarely has any listeners (and even more rarely has any traffic), so it will probably not be back. If possible, we may repurpose one of the analog scanners to broadcast GP fire or county fire. Please stay tuned, and thank you for your continued support.

It appears that the Josephine County Sheriff's Office has gone to a P25 digital system. We will investigate further and work at procuring a new receiver to resume full broadcasts. Until then, you will only be hearing dispatch's side of the conversation on that channel. Sorry for the inconvenience!

On 10/24/2012, the city changed to a different frequency for an unknown reason. We are now broadcasting that dispatch frequency, 159.1350, on the GP Police live audio feed.

We have updated the web-based live stream application to resolve some issues with memory leaks and repeating old (cached) data. Additionally, we have updated the incident player to a newer version of the software, and revamped the backends for the incident recordings and live streams. Please contact us if you note any issues.

We have launched a new section featuring scanner audio recordings from recent major incidents. Additionally, we have fixed some minor design glitches and updated the disclaimer on all live audio pages.

The Josephine County Sheriff's Dispatch feed is back online in a testing state. We will be making tweaks to the configuration over the next few days to improve audio quality and volume.

We have launched our latest site design, which includes updated frequency lists and a built-in Flash-based radio feed client. We hope that these improvements make the site easier to navigate and locate the exact information you are looking for. If you have any issues, notice any errors, or have any questions or suggestions, please contact us using the site contact page. Thanks!

Our streaming server has experienced a hardware failure; the Grants Pass DPS Police feed is currently online on a temporary system, but the Josephine County Sheriff's Office feed is offline. Unfortunately, the temporary system doesn't support more than one audio input, and it may be a while before the new server is built due to time and budget constraints. We'll post a news item when the SO feed is available again. Thank you!

A reception issue for the Josephine County Sheriff's Office feed has been fixed. Please let us know if you continue to have any further issues. Thanks!

Our connectivity issues have been resolved by the telephone carrier, and both live feeds are once again online. Thank you for your understanding and patience regarding this issue!

Dec 23, 2007
The connectivity for our live feeds was scheduled to be turned back up tomorrow, 12/24/2007. However an order error on the carrier's side has further delayed this until after the holidays. The carrier has committed to having the order corrected on 12/26/2007 and having the service operational by 01/03/2008. We again apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your continued patience.

Due to an unscheduled circuit disconnect by the telephone company providing our physical link for internet access, access to our live feed streams are currently not available. We are working with the carrier to have this resolved as soon as possible, with an estimated repair date of 12/24/2008. Thank you for your patience.

Due to popularity of the live scanner feeds from the James and Kati Kim family story, we have temporarily added a second reflector server. If you are receiving a "server full" message, please clear your web browser's cache and open the link to the scanner feed of your choice again. You should download the latest playlist and hit our primary feed reflector first, and if it is full, roll over to our secondary reflector. If you have any problems, please let us know! Thank you!
